
Un thé chez les fous
« Prends donc un peu de vin », proposa le Lièvre de Mars d’un ton encourageant.
Alice promena son regard tout autour de la table, mais elle n’aperçut que du thé. « Je ne vois pas de vin, fit-elle observer.
– Il n’y en a pas, dit le Lièvre de Mars.
– En ce cas, ce n’est pas très poli de votre part de m’en offrir, répliqua Alice d’un ton furieux.
– Ce n’est pas très poli de ta part de t’asseoir sans y être invitée, riposta le Lièvre de Mars.
`Have some wine,' the March Hare said in an encouraging tone.
Alice looked all round the table, but there was nothing on it but tea. `I don't see any wine,' she remarked.
`There isn't any,' said the March Hare.
`Then it wasn't very civil of you to offer it,' said Alice angrily.
`It wasn't very civil of you to sit down without being invited,' said the March Hare.
